Austin Lauritsen, CEO, Co-founder & Photographer
With a diverse background in media, technology and music, Austin Lauritsen, CEO and co-founder of FAKTIONLABS operates on the belief that "every complex problem has has a simple solution." With this belief, he conspired to bring together a team to provide simple solutions to problems that hinder creativity. When not conjuring up new products and services in the lab, he can be found playing in many of the venues and studios in the Nashville area.
Ben Stineman, CTO & Co-founder
Ben has a varied and disparate professional background including internet engineering, electronic engineering, audio/visual technology and production as well as a degree in Music. He comes to the table as Chief Technical Officer and Co-founder of FAKTIONLABS after several enlightening discussions with his long-time friend Austin in January 2007. As an open-source software advocate, Ben is constantly striving to develop products and technology that use open and widely accepted standards.
Greg Aker, Vice President of Product Development
Greg develops websites & web applications and is a web-standards and php junkie. As a web developer, saxophonist/jazz musician, booking agent and presenter, Greg has worn many hats in the music industry and has experienced first hand the frustration many artists have with technology and its integral role it plays in todays marketing campaigns. Greg's number one goal is to make the artists life easy. Developing products and services that empower artists to take control of their careers, keeps Greg pushing the envelope on what is possible in the world of web services.
